An overnight plan describes where you intend to stay. A reservation records a booking. Keeping those concepts separate helps distinguish an idea from an arrangement you have made.
A fictional weekend on the road
Sam and Lee plan a three-day forest trip. Friday is a travel day, Saturday has a planned campsite and a walk, and Sunday is reserved for returning home. A task reminds them to check permit requirements; a saved reservation is associated with their overnight stay after they book it with the provider.
Bring your navigation tools
ViaMore is an operational planning and coordination tool. Use your chosen navigation software and authoritative local sources for turn-by-turn directions, trail access, closures, weather and current road conditions. A planned destination does not establish that a route is safe or suitable for your vehicle.
Do not depend on this planning workflow for offline navigation or emergency information. Changing a trip's status to Cancelled does not cancel a provider booking.
