Trip Notes
Open a trip and choose Notes. Everyone with accepted trip access can read and add notes, including Members who are not currently traveling.
- Choose Add Note.
- Enter your note and optionally add a title or link an overnight.
- Choose photos, then choose Save.
Notes are plain text; line breaks and paragraphs are kept. Choose General Trip Note for information about the whole trip. You can also add a note from an overnight's detail page; that stay is selected automatically.
Photos may be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each, with at most 10 per note. If your phone supplies HEIC, export a JPEG first. Failed uploads can be retried or removed without losing your text. Choose Save to apply all changes. Cancel leaves existing notes and photos unchanged.
Filter by All Notes, General Trip Notes or a specific overnight. Choose View note for full text, then a thumbnail to enlarge it. Use Previous/Next or the arrow keys; Escape closes the photo. Closing the note returns to your list.
You can edit and delete your own notes. Trip Owners can delete anyone's note, but cannot rewrite another person's note. Deletions require confirmation. A concurrent-change message preserves your draft; copy text you want to keep before choosing to reload the current version.
Removing an overnight keeps its notes as general trip notes. Revoking a person's trip access also removes their access to its notes and photos.
